Introducing Rhys Uhlich, the model, designer, TV presenter and dad behind TEVITA.
Founded in 2011, Rhys wanted to fill the void of carbon copy surf labels unwilling to adapt and create a label with surfing soul that was on trend and true to its boho roots. Made from organic bamboos and beautiful natural fabrics in their Ubud, Bali factory TEVITA has exploded on the fashion scene and can be found Australia wide and online.
The inspiration behind my design was... florals. They're very big for us this year and the toucan is a central figure in our Summer '14 campaign, so this wild tropical print was the perfect match.
My design process involved... a lot of procrastination.
My style is... boho, surf, natural.
People are obsessed with candles and homewares because... I shouldn't admit to it being a man, but they just create a real homely welcome atmosphere.
I said yes to the Grace and James Artist Series collaboration because... it's the perfect match for us at Tevita and we love what it represents.
